ATS ranks and sorts resumes. It doesn't silently delete them. 92% of systems don't auto-reject. A human still decides — but they start from the top of the ranked list.
💡 What this means for you: Your goal isn't to "trick" ATS. Your goal is to score high enough to land in the top results that the recruiter actually reads. That's done through keyword alignment, clean formatting, and clear structure — not hacks.

BUILD YOUR CV RIGHT
Structure, order, and content. Get these right and you pass ATS and impress the human reader.
The Correct CV Structure (In This Order)
- 1. Contact Info — Name, phone, email, LinkedIn URL, city (UAE/Dubai). No photo, no nationality, no DOB unless specifically requested.
- 2. Professional Summary — 3 lines max. Who you are, your years of experience, and your top 2 strengths. Write this LAST after the rest is done.
- 3. Core Skills — A clean list of 8–12 keywords that match the job. This is where ATS picks up most of its score. Use the exact words from the job description.
- 4. Work Experience — Reverse chronological. Each role: company, title, dates, 3–5 bullet points of achievements — not just duties.
- 5. Education & Certifications — Most recent first. Include any NEBOSH, JAM Training, event-related certs here.
- 6. Languages — Only if relevant. English fluency matters for UAE event roles.
The Keyword Matching Strategy
This is the single most impactful thing you can do. Copy the job description. Paste it into ChatGPT or Claude. Ask: "List the top 15 skills and keywords from this job description that I should include in my CV." Then check your CV — how many are missing?
